Code Art Fair supports ART 2030 New York
In 2015, the United Nations adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Global Goals. They set an ambitious and transformative plan for the planet, people and prosperity.
ART 2030, the groundbreaking initiative founded by philanthropist and art collector Luise Faurschou, seeks to harness the considerable power and influence of the contemporary art world to achieve those 17 Global Goals by opening people’s hearts, minds and imaginations and inspiring action for a healthy and sustainable future.
Coinciding with the 73rd session of the United Nations’ General Assembly, ART 2030’s inaugural program brought together some of the contemporary art world’s most influential and diverse voices to participate in urgent discussions on how best to create and contribute to a shared and sustainable future. Code Art Fair is proud to have taken part in the weeklong initiative in support of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Global Goals.
”We’re truly honored to partner with Luise Faurschou and ART 2030. Luise’s unique vision to harness the influence of art in support of the U.N.’s 2030 Agenda is entirely consistent with our parent BC Hospitality Group’s longstanding commitment to sustainable development. We’re excited to join forces with her in furtherance of this ambitious agenda.” [Read the full BC Hospitality Group report here].
